The Transylvanian Museum is a place where even adults can discover and learn new things. Therefore, we offer different educational programmes for individual adult visitors and groups. In addition to the many publications and brochures that provide you with information when visiting our museum, we also offer guided tours.

Guided tours for the public

We regularly offer guided tours for the public during the course of special exhibitions or relating to specific subjects within the permanent exhibition. There is no need to sign up or to register for these. These dates are listed on our calendar.

For several special exhibitions, we offer our comprehensive supporting programme in addition to guided tours, for example lectures, concerts, panel discussions and other events. For dates and more information see our calendar.

Guided tours for groups

For groups of 10 or more people, we offer different types of guided tours. Besides tours of the museum, during which you will discover the museum’s highlights, we also organise tours covering the specific subject areas of our museum. We are happy to organise a special programme for your group that suits your areas of interest. Of course, we also organise guided tours for handicapped persons.
In these instances, you will of course need to make an appointment.

All tours can be booked to take place during the regular opening hours of the museum from Tuesday to Sunday, 11 AM to 5 PM. Upon appointment and for an extra charge; we will also open the museum at night. For more information contact our office at:
